About
I have served in various roles throughout my military and civilian career. Along the way, I have worked to balance the demands of the mission with the needs of the team executing and supporting the mission to ensure ongoing success.
In 2023, I took on the role of Deputy Program Manager for International Fleet Support. In this position, I provided lifecycle support for shipboard systems and maritime platforms, including the transfer of ex-USN ships to international partners. I was responsible for managing Foreign Military Sales cases that supported over 60 nations and supervised a team of 50 civilians in program management, business financial management, contracting, and logistics.
In my previous role as Product Support Manager, I supported the aircraft carrier portfolio from acquisition through sustainment and disposal. My team of logistics and program management professionals ensured that Sailors were equipped to operate and maintain both the newest, most technologically advanced systems installed onboard and the reliable, proven systems that have been in service for over 50 years. These efforts helped ensure that aircraft carriers remained relevant in an ever-changing combat environment, ultimately enabling the fleet to defend against all threats.
As a government civilian, I also served as Assistant Program Manager for surface warfare system trainers and as a nuclear propulsion systems manager. During my time as a defense contractor, I specialized in aircraft carrier networks, navigation, and ship control systems.
During my military career, I advanced to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer, serving in various leadership roles including Propulsion Plant Watch Officer and Watch Supervisor aboard USS Arkansas (CGN 41), USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), and USS Enterprise (CVN 65). I served in various training commands as an instructor, section advisor, and class director, earning recognition as a Master Training Specialist. I also served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor at the Nuclear Regional Maintenance Department in Norfolk, Virginia.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology, with an emphasis on Nuclear Technology, from Excelsior University.
